IT Network Engineer

Job Description

• Design, implement, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure
• Configure, install, and troubleshoot network equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls
• Implement security measures to ensure data integrity and network protection
• Create and maintain documentation for network configurations and procedures
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for network systems
• Optimize network architecture to improve performance, reliability, and scalability
• Support capacity planning and network expansion projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field
• 13 years of experience in network design, implementation, or operations
• Good project management and coordination skills
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN technologies, TCP/IP, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
• Hands-on experience with network hardware (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, HPE)
• Basic understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
• Relevant networking certifications are a plus (CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent)
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Willing to perform site visits as required during project execution
