Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor end-to-end availability and performance of banking systems, applications, and infrastructure (24/7 monitoring environment).
  • Perform real-time monitoring of transactions, logs, and system alerts to detect anomalies and potential incidents.
  • Analyze system issues, identify root causes, and escalate incidents to relevant teams based on defined SLA.
  • Support incident handling, troubleshooting, and post-incident reporting.
  • Coordinate with Application, Infrastructure, Security, and Vendor teams during incidents.
  • Maintain and improve monitoring dashboards, alert thresholds, and documentation.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure monitoring processes comply with banking regulations and internal controls.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Monitoring, IT Operations, or NOC within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Hands-on experience working in a shift-based / 24x7 operational environment.
  • Strong understanding of digital banking systems and transaction monitoring.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, Zabbix, SolarWinds, or similar.
  • Familiar with log analysis, alert management, and incident escalation.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix commands, databases, and application monitoring.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure during incidents.
  • Understanding of ITIL framework is an advantage.

NOTE: This position requires shift work (including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays), Willing to work independently during assigned shifts (solo duty)
