Key Responsibilities

• System Administration

- Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers.

- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.

- Perform patching, updates, and backup management.

• Security Administration

- Implement and monitor security controls (firewalls, antivirus, endpoint protection).

- Manage user access and identity management.

- Conduct vulnerability scans and assist in remediation.

- Respond to security incidents and maintain logs.

• Compliance & Documentation

- Ensure adherence to IT security policies and standards.

- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations and procedures.

• Collaboration

- Work closely with network and application teams for integrated security and system operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• 3 years of experience in system administration and/or IT security.
• Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP management.
• Basic knowledge of firewalls, VPN, and endpoint security.
• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Understanding of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
• Continuous learning mindset.
• Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA Security +, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administration, ITIL Foundation (added advantage)
