About The Role
Lead and govern the end to end Infrastructure function (Servers, Networks, Platforms) across on premises data centers and public cloud (e.g., Azure/AWS/GCP). Own reliability, performance, security, cost efficiency, and compliance of core infrastructure services that power business applications—ensuring high availability, resilience, and scalable growth.
Job Description
- Strategy & Governance
- Define the Infrastructure strategy & roadmap covering capacity, modernization, cloud migration, and sustainability.
- Establish standards, policies, and reference architectures for servers, storage, virtualization, containers, backup, network (LAN/WAN/SD‑WAN), and cloud foundations.
- Drive ITSM excellence: incident, problem, change, configuration (CMDB), and release management for Infrastructure.
- Implement risk management, BCP/DR strategies, recovery objectives (RTO/RPO), and conduct periodic DR tests.
- Ensure compliance with security baselines, regulatory mandates, and internal audit requirements (e.g., hardening, logging, retention).
- Oversee vendor/partner management, contracts, SLAs, and performance reviews.
- Operations (Servers & Compute)
- Govern on‑premises servers (physical/virtual: VMware/Hyper‑V), OS lifecycle, patching, and firmware updates.
- Manage cloud compute (IaaS, PaaS, container platforms like AKS/EKS/GKE), image baselines, scaling, and automation.
- Own identity and access for infrastructure (e.g., AD/Azure AD, privileged access, RBAC).
- Ensure backup/restore, snapshot policies, and data protection across on‑prem and cloud workloads.
- Implement observability: monitoring, alerting, logging, and AIOps—proactive capacity/saturation management.
- Network & Connectivity
- Govern campus/branch networks (LAN/WLAN), data center networks, SD‑WAN/MPLS, and Internet edge.
- Ensure network security: firewalls, segmentation, IDS/IPS, WAF, VPN, ZTNA/SASE, DNS/DHCP/IPAM.
- Optimize routing, QoS, and performance; ensure redundancy and high availability designs.
- Oversee public cloud networking: VNet/VPC, peering, private endpoints, load balancers, gateways, and hybrid connectivity.
- Cloud Foundations & Platform Engineering
- Own cloud landing zones, guardrails, policies (e.g., Azure Policy), tagging, cost management, FinOps practices.
- Standardize CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC: Terraform/Bicep/CloudFormation), configuration management (Ansible).
- Establish image pipelines (golden images/base containers), secrets management, and registry governance.
- Coordinate platform reliability engineering and performance tuning for critical workloads.
- Security, Compliance & Risk
- Enforce baseline hardening, vulnerability management, and patch cadence for all infrastructure.
- Ensure SIEM/SOAR integration, log retention, and alert response playbooks in collaboration with Security Operations.
- Conduct periodic controls testing, penetration tests (with SecOps), and remediate findings.
- Maintain asset inventory/CMDB accuracy and evidence for audit & regulatory assessments.
- People Leadership & Financials
- Build and develop a high‑performing Infrastructure team (Server Ops, Network Ops, Cloud Platform, DR/Backup).
- Drive resource planning, succession, skills uplift, and certification paths.
- Own budgeting & cost optimization (CapEx/OpEx), renewals, license compliance, and cloud spend governance.
Education
Job Requirement:
Bachelor Degree (S1) Degree in Technical/Information System/Other related educations
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IT/DC management, finance industry background is an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of experience in BC/DR plan development and implementation
Certifications/licenses (are An Advantage)
- Technical certification (e.g. ITSM, Cisco, IBM, Microsoft)
- Business certification (e.g. FLMI from LOMA)
Special Skills
- Proven professional experience on managing and operating multi-platform servers, storage system, network system and other industry-standard IT related tools – to design and implement solution to support business requirements
- Proven professional experience in designing and implementing enterprise scale Cloud computing – Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).
- Deep understanding of core Help Desk and Desktop Support functions
- Customer service mindset and a professional demeanor to maintain and enhance relationships
- Develops policies, procedures, and standards to enhance IT service delivery
- Have knowledge and skill to manage IT human resources in accordance to resource/time allocation/utilization and capable on team mentoring
- Understand Project Management, Service Management and Software Development Life Cycle
- Have knowledge on business operation of Life Insurance
- Fluent to communicate in English
