We Are Looking For

The IT Infrastructure Engineer will support the day-to-day operation of IT infrastructure and network systems within the data center.

The role works closely with IT, Operations, vendors, and contractors to keep systems running smoothly, resolve issues, and support maintenance or project activities when required.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain servers, storage, network devices, virtualization platforms, backup systems, and monitoring tools.
  • Support daily IT operations in the data center and help ensure systems remain available and stable.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, support escalation, and follow through on fixes or preventive actions.
  • Update service tickets, work orders, change requests, and incident records in the ITSM system.
  • Assist with system changes, maintenance, backup and restore, patching, disaster recovery, and routine administration work.
  • Work with Operations, Network, BMS/DCIM, HSE, vendors, and contractors on maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and project work.
  • Create and maintain network diagrams, technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and configuration records.
  • Follow company policies, security standards, change management procedures, and data center operating requirements.
  • Provide Level 2/Level 3 technical support and participate in on-call support when required.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations, ideally in a data center, critical facilities, telecom, or enterprise IT environment.
  • Good understanding of servers, storage, networking, virtualization, backup systems, monitoring tools, and Windows and/or Linux administration.
  • Familiar with ITSM processes such as incident, problem, change, service request, and ticket management.
  • Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, VPN, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Exposure to BMS, DCIM, CMMS, access control, or facilities monitoring tools will be an added advantage.
  • Able to troubleshoot issues, document clearly, and coordinate well with internal teams and external parties.
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and willing to support planned maintenance, urgent issues, and after-hours work when needed.
