Open Position: IT Governance Manager
About the Role
As IT Governance Manager, you will play a key role in enhancing the organization's IT governance and operational excellence by developing and implementing IT monitoring and evaluation methodologies and frameworks. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate reporting, managing and optimizing ITSM tools across the organization, and driving continuous improvements in IT service management processes. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders to strengthen IT operational performance, improve service quality, and support the organization's digital transformation and governance objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance IT monitoring and evaluation methodologies, frameworks, and best practices to support effective IT governance and performance management.
- Implement and maintain IT monitoring and evaluation frameworks, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and deliver reports accurately and within established timelines and standards.
- Manage, administer, and continuously improve IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and supporting tools.
- Operate and support ITSM tools across the organization to ensure efficient service delivery and process execution.
- Analyze ITSM performance and identify opportunities to optimize workflows, automation, and service quality.
- Propose, document, and implement continuous improvement initiatives related to ITSM processes, tools, and operational practices.
- Collaborate with IT, business, and governance stakeholders to ensure effective adoption of ITSM frameworks and tools.
- Monitor process compliance and recommend corrective actions to improve operational efficiency and service performance.
- Support the organization's IT governance, risk management, and service excellence initiatives through data-driven insights and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation, COBIT Foundation, or other IT Governance certifications are preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) and/or IT Governance.
- Strong understanding of IT and business strategies and policies, with the ability to translate them into effective IT monitoring and evaluation activities.
- Proven ability to develop and enhance IT monitoring and evaluation methodologies using relevant frameworks and industry best practices.
- Ability to define, measure, analyze, and report performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) with meaningful business context.
- Experience in data collection, processing, validation, and review to support performance assessments and decision-making.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, evaluate data, and provide data-driven improvement recommendations aligned with best practices.
- Familiarity with ITSM platforms and data analysis tools, such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, ManageEngine, Jira Service Management, Power BI, Excel, or similar solutions.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to develop presentation materials and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to build relationships across business and technology teams.
