IT Digital Strategic Platform Specialist
Responsible for overseeing the implementation of vendor-developed enhancements, managing system integrations across the Banking as a Service (BaaS) platform, Merchant Platform, Core Banking, API Gateway, and external partner systems. The role ensures optimal platform configuration, operational stability, security, and compliance with the bank's policies and standards by coordinating vendor activities, enforcing technical controls, and providing continuous support to meet evolving business requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in digital banking, payment systems, Banking as a Service (BaaS), merchant acquiring, or banking application support.
- Experience in managing and coordinating with third-party vendors and technology partners.
- Proven experience in system integration involving Core Banking, API Gateway, middleware, and external partner platforms.
- Experience in supporting production environments, incident management, and system implementation projects within the banking industry.
- Familiarity with banking regulations, IT governance, and information security standards is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as ITIL Foundation, Scrum, PMP, AWS/Azure Cloud, or API-related certifications are an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Banking as a Service (BaaS), Open Banking, Merchant Platforms, and digital banking ecosystems.
- Solid knowledge of API architecture, RESTful APIs, API Gateway, web services, and integration technologies.
- Understanding of Core Banking systems, middleware, microservices architecture, and event-driven integration.
- Familiarity with payment ecosystems, including merchant acquiring, QR payments, virtual accounts, payment gateways, and settlement processes.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD concepts is an advantage.
- Understanding of database management (SQL) and ability to perform basic troubleshooting and log analysis.
