Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Remove impediments and foster a collaborative Agile culture.
  • Coach the team on Agile principles and ensure adherence to Scrum practices.
  • Support the Product Owner in backlog grooming and prioritization.
  • Define project scope, timeline, budget, and resource plans.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Ensure delivery aligns with business objectives and IT strategy.
  • Provide status reports, escalate issues, and ensure quality assurance.

Requirements

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of 2–5 years in IT project delivery, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
  • Familiar with and proven track record in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall project environments.
  • Experienced in managing cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and external vendors.

Technical Knowledge

  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, microservices architecture, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and DevOps practices.
  • Proficient in using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or Trello.
  • Knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks in the banking sector.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • (Optional) Preferred certifications:
  • Scrum Master (CSM, PSM)
  • Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2)
  • Agile Certification (SAFe, PMI-ACP)

Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High situational awareness, servant leadership, and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
