Description
We are a global investment holding group managing more than USD 1.5 billion in assets across three high-growth sectors — energy, infrastructure, and financial services — with operations spanning Jakarta, Singapore. As our portfolio expands, technology has become one of the sharpest levers we have for unlocking value, and right now that lever is underused: IT spend, platforms, and vendor relationships sit fragmented across business units, each negotiating and building on its own.
We're looking for an IT Category Leader to change that — someone who can step into a genuinely blank-canvas mandate, build the Group's first unified IT category strategy from the ground up, and turn scattered spend into a single source of negotiating power. This is a rare opportunity to shape how an entire multi-sector group buys, governs, and standardizes technology, with direct visibility to senior leadership and a mandate that touches every business unit in the portfolio.
- Lead group-wide IT category strategy and consolidate IT spend across business units
- Align sourcing with digital transformation and standardize core IT platforms
- Strengthen supplier governance, negotiation leverage, and enterprise framework agreements
- Enhance spend transparency, rationalize vendors, and secure long-term commercial value across the Group
Requirements
- 7–10+ years in IT procurement, technology sourcing, or category management.
- Proven experience managing IT categories such as hardware, software, cloud, telecom, IT services, cybersecurity, and professional services.
- Strong track record in strategic sourcing, tender management, commercial negotiation, and supplier management.
- Experience managing large, complex IT spend across multiple BUs or enterprise environments.
- Experience driving cost optimization, supplier consolidation, contract governance, and value creation.
- Experience working with senior IT and business stakeholders and managing strategic technology vendors.
