IT Business Analyst (Insurance experience)

Role Description This is an on-site, contract role for an IT Business Analyst based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The IT Business Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders in the insurance domain to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into clear functional and technical specifications. Daily tasks include mapping and improving business processes, facilitating workshops and meetings, and coordinating with IT teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives. The role also involves validating implemented solutions, supporting user acceptance testing, preparing documentation, and providing ongoing support to ensure systems and processes remain aligned with business needs. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks, propose enhancements, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Candidates should possess Business Process skills to map, analyze, and optimize workflows within insurance operations.
• Candidates should possess Information Technology knowledge to bridge business needs with IT solutions, including system integrations and application workflows.
• Experience in the insurance industry (life, health, general, or digital insurance) is highly beneficial.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, both in writing and verbally.
• Experience with standard BA tools and methodologies (e.g., use cases, user stories, process diagrams, requirements traceability).
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a collaborative environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
