Role Description The IT Business Analyst (Life Insurance) will work on-site in Jakarta, Indonesia under a contract arrangement. This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements from stakeholders in life insurance operations and translating them into clear IT specifications. The analyst will map and optimize business processes, identify gaps, and propose system enhancements or new solutions aligned with organizational objectives. Daily activities include conducting workshops and interviews with users, preparing functional documents and use cases, coordinating with development and QA teams, and supporting system testing and user acceptance testing. The role also involves monitoring implementation, resolving issues, and ensuring that delivered solutions meet both business needs and technical standards.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify patterns, and propose practical solutions.
- Proven experience in Business Analysis, including requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
- Ability to define and manage Business Requirements, functional specifications, and use cases clearly and accurately.
- Hands-on experience analyzing and improving Business Process workflows, especially in operational or back-office environments.
- Familiarity with Information Technology concepts, software development life cycle, and collaboration with technical teams.
- Prior experience in the life insurance domain (products, policy administration, claims, underwriting) is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication skills in English and local language, with the ability to work effectively with both business and IT stakeholders on-site.
- Experience with process modeling tools, requirements management tools, and basic SQL or reporting tools is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
