We are looking for an experienced IT Audit Specialist to strengthen our IT governance and risk management framework. In this role, you will evaluate IT processes, systems, and controls to ensure compliance, enhance operational efficiency, and safeguard the organization's technology assets. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute risk-based IT audit plans aligned with organizational objectives and audit priorities.
- Perform IT audits covering IT General Controls (ITGC), application controls, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and technology governance.
- Identify, assess, and monitor IT risks, including emerging technologies, cybersecurity threats, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct audit fieldwork by gathering and evaluating evidence, documenting findings, and ensuring compliance with audit standards.
- Analyze audit results, identify root causes, and provide practical recommendations to strengthen internal controls, security, and operational effectiveness.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports and communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to management and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with IT, business units, and external auditors to ensure effective implementation of corrective actions and continuous process improvements.
- Leverage data analytics, audit tools, and technology to improve audit efficiency, effectiveness, and insight generation.
- Support the enhancement of IT audit methodologies, frameworks, and quality assurance initiatives while contributing to other internal audit activities as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in IT Audit, IT Risk Management, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related assurance functions.
- Strong understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC), IT Application Controls, IT governance, cybersecurity principles, and risk management frameworks.
- Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, ITIL, or similar.
- Experience conducting IT risk assessments, identifying control weaknesses, and recommending practical, risk-based improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex IT environments and business processes.
- Experience preparing audit documentation, working papers, and professional audit reports for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analytics, audit software, and Microsoft Office tools is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
