Ionic Developer
Vodjo is currently seeking an
Ionic Developer passionate about building cross-platform mobile applications for both iOS and Android. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications using the Ionic framework. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features is a key part of this role. We are looking for a strong team player with a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences.
Job Description
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable and efficient mobile applications using the Ionic framework
- Collaborate with teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure to ensure seamless integration
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
- Participate in the full app lifecycle, from development to deployment and post-launch support
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mobile development and the Ionic ecosystem
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, programming, and debugging
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with the Ionic framework and a deep understanding of its ecosystem (e.g., Angular, Capacitor, Cordova)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating them into mobile applications
- Experience with state management solutions (e.g., NgRx, Redux)
- Knowledge of native build tools like XCode and Android Studio
- Proficient in using code versioning tools such as Git
- Understanding of mobile app deployment processes for both iOS and Android platforms
Desired Skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience with performance benchmarking and optimization
- Familiarity with tools for crash reporting, analytics, and monitoring
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma)
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
