About the Role

AIA is seeking an Investment Channel Specialist. This role serves as the primary liaison between the Investment function and field distribution partners, ensuring effective deployment of investment knowledge and product capabilities across all distribution channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for agencies, partnership distribution, and corporate solutions on investment-related marketing and training.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners to understand and support their needs.
  • Deliver investment training, seminars, and market updates across bancassurance and agency channels, including train-the-trainer sessions.
  • Develop training materials, product presentations, and investment education content for partners.
  • Support the launch of new or updated Unit Link (UL) funds, including preparation of communication and training materials.
  • Ensure distribution channels are well-equipped to promote investment products in line with regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align training content with latest market insights and fund performance.
  • Represent the investment function in events, roadshows, and industry seminars.
  • Monitor channel engagement, training completion, and feedback to enhance effectiveness.
  • Support additional responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs.

Success Measures:

  • Timely and high-quality training delivery and partner engagement.
  • Strong partner support reflected in feedback and training completion rates.
  • Successful and timely execution of UL fund launches.
  • Effective communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications:

  • Min. 7 years of relevant working experience in theasset management, life insurance, or bancassurance industry, with preference for experience in sales, distribution, or training roles.
  • Strong integrity and highly ethical in communicating financial / investment advices.
  • Energetic, engaging communicator with the ability to build relationships across field distribution partners, internal teams, and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • In-depth knowledge of Unit Link and pension products, and a working knowledge of the regulatory environment in Indonesia.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering investment training, product presentations, or financial education programs to distribution channel audiences.
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; relevant professional qualifications such as WAPERD or CFP are an advantage.
  • Proficient with MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel; familiarity with digital presentation and e-learning tools is an advantage.
