Investment Associate

Job Description

• Conduct industry research, deal sourcing, and investment execution for private companies, primarily in the Indonesia market.
• Execute end-to-end investment processes including due diligence, financial analysis, investment memo preparation, and transaction documentation.
• Perform quantitative investment analysis including financial modeling, valuation, cap table analysis, and return scenario assessment.
• Support portfolio management by monitoring performance and working closely with portfolio companies to drive value creation.
• Facilitate strategic and commercial synergies across portfolio companies and affiliated businesses.
• Manage relationships with founders, co-investors, advisors, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare investment reports and updates for regional and headquarters-level stakeholders.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks related to investment and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related disciplines from a reputable university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Venture Capital, Investment Banking, Private Equity, startup investment, or related investment roles.
• Strong understanding of equity financing, deal structuring, and investment evaluation.
• Solid financial modeling and valuation skills; comfortable with cap table analysis and quantitative assessments.
• Strong logical thinking and communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate investment rationale.
• Assertive and independent thinker, able to provide constructive challenge and represent the firm professionally.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken.
• High level of professionalism, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
