As an
Inventory Project Lead, you will act as the project management office (PMO) for inventory-related initiatives across SPX warehouses. You will lead cross-functional projects to improve inventory processes, warehouse capacity, operational efficiency, and service levels while ensuring alignment across Operations, Planning, Product, and other business stakeholders.
Job Description
- Lead end-to-end inventory-related projects, from planning through execution, ensuring timely delivery and measurable business impact.
- Develop warehouse capacity planning models and recommend strategies to optimize inventory utilization across the network.
- Monitor inventory performance, operational KPIs, and SLA achievement, identifying improvement opportunities through data-driven analysis.
- Drive cross-functional process improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and overall warehouse performance.
- Partner with Operations, Product, Planning, Engineering, and other stakeholders to implement scalable inventory solutions.
- Build project timelines, monitor milestones, manage risks, and ensure project deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Design dashboards, reports, and business insights to support strategic decision-making and performance tracking.
- Standardize inventory management processes and establish governance to improve operational consistency across multiple warehouses.
- Lead root cause analysis for inventory-related issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Warehouse Operations, PMO, Process Improvement, or related functions.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional projects involving operations, inventory, or warehouse transformation.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets is required. Experience with SQL, Power BI, Python, or data visualization tools will be an advantage.
- Experience in logistics, e-commerce, FMCG, retail, or supply chain industries is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
