Position: Intern Teacher (Elementary School)
Placement: Kalimalang, Bekasi
Duration: 6 months
Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher Intern to join our Elementary School team for a 6-month program. This role is designed for final-year university students or recent graduates from Primary Education (PGSD) or related fields who are eager to gain hands-on teaching experience in a dynamic learning environment enriched with national and Cambridge-based curricula. The Teacher Intern will have opportunities not only to assist but also to practice delivering lessons under the guidance and mentorship of experienced teachers.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver selected lessons under supervision of a mentor teacher.
- Support the teaching and learning process in daily classroom activities.
- Prepare teaching materials, learning tools, and classroom displays.
- Facilitate bilingual learning activities, particularly in English.
- Monitor student engagement, learning progress, and classroom behavior.
- Support assessment by reviewing student work and assignments.
- Participate in organizing school events, projects, field trips, and thematic activities.
- Collaborate with the teaching team in lesson planning aligned with both National Curriculum and Cambridge Framework.
Qualifications:
- Final-year university student or recent graduate from Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) or a related field.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
- Interested in learning and applying the Cambridge curriculum.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, online learning platforms, and basic design tools (e.g., Canva).
- Possess strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Open to feedback, eager to learn, and passionate about teaching.
