Job Description:
Role & Job Descriptions:
- Support the actuarial valuation manager in calculating the actuarial reserves for valuation reporting purposes and relevant regulatory requirements
- Support preparation and submission of reinsurance reports to external reinsurers and ensure monthly reconciliation between reinsurance system data and accounting records.
- Translating complex data into actuarial insights and projections aligned with statutory frameworks to support experience study and business planning processes for management reporting purposes.
- Identify and implement process improvements in actuarial control cycle (methodologies & models, workflows, and processes) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.
Preferred skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Actuarial Software (AXIS preferred), Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access
- Basic programming language skills (i.e. R-programming, Alteryx, Phyton, Tableau, etc)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- Progress towards / completion of professional actuarial qualifications.
