International Legal Counsel

Responsibilities

Draft, review, revise and advise on business contracts, corporate documents, labor/employment matters, taxation issues, contentious matters and other daily matters.

Conduct thorough research on local laws, regulations, and industry updates (particularly in relation to LPBBTI) to provide accurate legal opinions and guidance to the management.

Act as the company's legal counsel and liaise with regulatory bodies, such as the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan / OJK), to ensure full regulatory compliance and manage all related communications.

Requirements

Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a valid Indonesian Advocate License (Kartu Tanda Anggota Advokat).

4 to 6 years of legal work experience. Experience in fintech, LPBBTI, consumer finance or online lending is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of local laws and regulations including but not limited to financial regulations, OJK regulations, consumer protection laws, and digital lending transactions.

Clear contract drafting, sharp legal research and strong negotiation skills.
