Role Description

This part-time, hybrid International Curriculum Tutor role, based in Jakarta, Tangerang, Bekasi, Bandung, Surabaya, Medan, Bali, Bogor, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Makassar, Indonesia, involves providing expert tutoring for Cambridge IGCSE, A/AS Level, EDEXCEL and IB PYP/MYP/DP curriculums. The tutor will conduct personalized private classes and group sessions to support students in understanding key concepts in subjects such as Mathematics, Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology), English, Economics, Business Management/Studies, etc and core education domains. Utilizing excellent communication skills, the tutor will engage students, develop lesson plans, and provide constructive feedback. While the role is based in Jakarta, some work-from-home flexibility is available.

Qualifications

• Experience and skills in Private Classes and Tutoring to provide individual and small group instruction.
• Strong knowledge in Education and related international curriculums such as Cambridge IGCSE, A/AS Level, and IB PYP/MYP/DP.
• Proficiency in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, English Language/Literature, Economics, Business Management/Studies, etc and the ability to effectively teach related concepts.
• Excellent Communication skills to create a supportive learning environment and connect with diverse student needs.
• Familiarity with different teaching methodologies and an adaptable teaching approach.
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required.
• Previous experience in international curriculums is highly valued.
• Proficiency in technology for hybrid and remote teaching environments is a plus.
