About The Team
Group Internal Audit (GIA) is looking for an experienced audit professional with a solid background and strong knowledge on the key risks and controls pertaining to internal audit related matters in Indonesia (ID). This role serves to provide independent assessment of governance, risk management and internal control environment, and also support the GIA function in its communications with Senior Management, Board of Directors, Board of Commissioners, external auditors and regulators, consultants, and other external stakeholders on internal audit related matters.
Job Description
- Contribute to the annual risk assessment and internal audit planning process by identifying risks and key focus areas.
- Ensure that internal audit activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with industry best practices, GIA standards, and the relevant risk and regulatory environment, to provide country management with assurance that local regulatory requirements and regulator expectations are fully met.
- Perform audit work in accordance with GIA's charter, methodology, procedures and timelines, including audit planning, fieldwork, workpapers, finding and reporting.
- Ensure sufficient and appropriate audit evidence is obtained and documented to support audit findings and conclusions.
- Communicate audit findings clearly, including root causes, associated risks, and actionable recommendations to Senior Management to mitigate risks and strengthen internal controls.
- Perform follow-up procedures to ensure timely and effective implementation of agreed-upon management action plans.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of internal audit communications to Senior Management, Board of Directors, Board of Commissioners, and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain professional relationship with internal stakeholders, providing objective insights and support on control-related matters, emerging risks and potential red flags.
- Maintain updated knowledge of local regulatory changes impacting financial services.
- Support GIA on ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experiences
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in internal audit, risk management, and/or internal controls relevant to financial services industries, preferably with experience in a Big Four audit firm.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent will be of added advantage.
- Additional qualifications and experience in Risk Management or Compliance will be of advantage.
- Knowledge and experience with Bank Indonesia regulations and other relevant local laws regarding e-money services is a strong advantage.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of a variety of business processes and the ability to assess operational, financial, and compliance risks.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess control effectiveness and identify process improvements.
- Ability to interpret audit findings and recommend practical, risk-based solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present audit findings clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, collaborate across functions, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
