ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for an Internal Audit Officer to support audit activities within our organization. This role will focus on executing audit programs, identifying risks, and providing valuable insights to strengthen internal controls and business processes. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure audit findings are well-documented, actionable, and followed up effectively.

JOB PURPOSE & IMPACT

As an Internal Audit Officer, your primary purpose is to provide assurance on the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. You will play a key role in identifying potential risks, analyzing root causes, and recommending improvements that enhance operational efficiency and safeguard company assets.

Your role involves both analytical and stakeholder management capabilities; interpreting data, identifying red flags, and communicating findings clearly to management. Through structured audit approaches and strong collaboration, you will help build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across the organization.

This position offers valuable exposure to business processes across functions and provides an opportunity to strengthen your expertise in audit, risk management, and compliance within a dynamic FMCG environment.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform audit procedures (e.g., stock count, vouching) and document findings in working papers.
• Analyze data to identify high-risk areas and potential red flags.
• Conduct root cause analysis and provide actionable recommendations.
• Track and follow up on audit recommendations with relevant stakeholders.
• Present and discuss audit findings with management.

CANDIDATE CRITERIA

• Minimum 5 years of working experience, including at least 2 years as an auditor, with strong understanding of audit techniques and general business processes
• Basic knowledge of accounting and finance
• High level of integrity and professional ethics, with solid awareness of risk management and internal controls
• Strong analytical thinking and root cause analysis skills to identify issues and provide actionable recommendations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Professional certifications or training in audit, risk, control, or compliance are an advantage
• Experience in FMCG industry, fraud or investigative audit, and/or background from an accounting firm will be considered a plus
• Willing to work under a 6-month contract.
