Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Insurance & Protection Desk Manager to lead and manage insurance and protection initiatives within our proptech ecosystem. This is a senior individual contributor role responsible for driving insurance operations, managing strategic partnerships, improving customer protection programs, and supporting revenue growth through embedded insurance solutions
The role will work cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Commercial, Legal, Customer Experience, and external insurance partners to ensure seamless execution of insurance and protection services across the customer journey
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage insurance and protection programs aligned with company business objectives
- Drive operational excellence across insurance onboarding, policy administration, claims coordination, and escalation handling
- Manage relationships with insurance providers
- Negotiate commercial terms, service agreements, and operational frameworks with partners
- Identify opportunities to embed insurance and protection products into property transactions and customer journeys
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer adoption, operational efficiency, and service quality
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics including conversion, claims handling, customer satisfaction, and partner performance
- Act as the subject matter expert for insurance and protection-related initiatives across the organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in insurance, insurtech, fintech, proptech, banking, or related industries
- Strong understanding of insurance operations, protection products, and customer risk management
- Experience managing insurance partnerships, embedded insurance programs, or protection services
- Proven ability to work independently in a senior individual contributor capacity
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Excellent analytical, operational, and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Experience working in fast-paced, technology-driven, or high-growth environments
- Familiarity with property-related insurance products or real estate ecosystem is highly preferred
- Experience in process improvement, operational scaling, and performance management is a plus
