We're Looking for You

As an Instrument & Control Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, integrity, and safe operation of control and instrumentation systems in our power plant. You will lead engineering analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to support high plant availability and operational excellence.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• Leading engineering analysis and technical support for I&C systems across Power Block, BOP, and Fuel Gas System
• Troubleshooting complex issues related to DCS, PLC, and field instrumentation
• Driving root cause analysis and implementing reliability improvement solutions
• Monitoring performance and reliability of instruments (sensors, transmitters, analyzers, control valves)
• Supporting and leading system optimization, calibration, and tuning activities
• Managing I&C scope for projects, modifications (CM&U), and new installations
• Reviewing technical documents (specifications, control logic, engineering evaluation)
• Coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth execution
• Ensuring compliance with engineering standards, HSE regulations, and safe work practices
• Managing vendor performance, contracts, and technical service execution
• Preparing technical reports and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in power generation or oil & gas industry
• Strong exposure to Instrument & Control systems engineering
• Solid understanding of DCS/PLC systems, control logic, and process automation
• Experience in instrumentation systems (sensors, transmitters, analyzers, control valves)
• Familiar with engineering standards (ISA, IEC, ANSI)
• Experience with CMMS, AIMS, and engineering documentation systems is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical capability
• Able to manage multiple engineering projects and initiatives
• Strong problem-solving and data-driven decision-making skills
• Good coordination and collaboration across teams
• Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa
• Proactive, adaptable, and self-driven
• High commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
