A Installation Engineer will hold an honours degree in Mechanical or Civil or Structural Engineering from University. The degree must contain a thorough grounding in the theory and techniques of structural engineering.
Min 10 years working experience in area production facility (subsea) engineering, construction and Installation, the experience gained shall be in a similar role and the candidate shall have a strong construction engineering background and have demonstrable yard leadership skills.
Experience with DP System, VLS, tensioner, heavy lift crane operation, sea state limiting criteria, loading and unloading equipments on to barge, transportation analysis, overbending and collapsing phenomena.
Experience in use of FE software such as MOSES, Orcaflex, Abaqus and Ansys
Experience with offshore Installation design and installation problems. Such problems will include but are not be limited to: pipe spooling problems; installation analysis; thermal design; wall thickness design, Flexible flowline, umbilical, Manifold, UTA, SDU, others subsea equipment.
Experience with subsea and offshore facility codes and relevant standards of practice.
Experience of design and who have worked for or with a major Operator
Experience in design and operational aspects of offshore brownfield activities
