Inside Sales Executive

Role Description

The Inside Sales Executive is an on-site role based in Batam. This role is responsible for managing customer enquiries, sourcing products, preparing and issuing quotations, following up on sales opportunities, and supporting tenders across key accounts, SMEs, and large enterprises. The role involves working closely with customers, suppliers, category management, and internal teams to ensure timely responses, competitive pricing, and a seamless sales process.

Daily tasks include managing RFQs, sourcing MRO and non-MRO products, negotiating with suppliers, preparing quotations, identifying new product opportunities, supporting tender submissions, and identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, procurement, or inside sales, preferably with MRO/non-MRO products.
• Good understanding of the end-to-end sourcing and procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, pricing, and delivery coordination.
• Strong English communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple RFQs, quotations, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, sourcing, or procurement systems is an advantage.
• Proactive, commercially driven, and able to identify new business, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
• Strong team player who can also work independently and support junior team members.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
