About the role:

In this role you'll be responsible for the day to day administration, security enforcement, and operational support of Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud environments. The role ensures platforms are secure, compliant, resilient, and operationally efficient, supporting business users while meeting regulatory and audit requirements.

Key responsibilities:

Microsoft 365 Administration

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including: Azure AD / Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online.
• Manage user lifecycle (provisioning, access management, offboarding).
• Implement and maintain Conditional Access policies, MFA, and identity protection controls.
• Configure and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection, and Compliance policies.
• Support eDiscovery, retention policies, audit logs, and compliance reporting.

Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Management

• Administer Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM) for BYOD devices across iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS.
• Define and enforce device compliance policies, application protection policies, and security baselines.
• Troubleshoot device enrollment, application deployment, and access-related issues.

Azure Cloud Administration

• Administer Azure resources, including Virtual Machines (Windows/Linux), networking (VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, and Application Gateway), and Azure PaaS services such as App Services, Storage Accounts, and Azure SQL.
• Monitor availability, performance, and cloud costs using Azure-native monitoring and management tools.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and cloud resilience requirements.

Security, Compliance & Governance

• Implement cloud security controls aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits, inspections, and evidence preparation.
• Collaborate with security, risk, and governance teams to remediate audit findings and security gaps.
• Ensure adherence to internal change management, incident management, and access management processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration, with at least 3 years of experience.

• Proven experience with Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM).
• In-depth knowledge of Conditional Access, MFA, and identity security.
• Experience managing SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams governance.
• Strong understanding of DLP, compliance, and data protection controls.
• Solid experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
• Experience using scripting to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
