Infosec and Compliance Intern:
Job Description:
- Assist to develop AI/ML models to identify emerging risks, unusual patterns, and anomalies from operational and security data.
- Assist design, train, and validate machine learning models; handle data analytics and preparation.
- Assist creating tools that analyze IT risk trends and map findings to IT audit frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or SOC 2.
- Assist in periodic IT general control (ITGC) and application control reviews by supporting automation and exception testing.
- Work with risk and Audit managers to enhance risk frameworks with predictive analytics and data-driven insights.
- Participate in internal audit walkthroughs and support evidence gathering using data-backed methods.
- Document findings, assumptions, and results in a clear and auditable way.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience with data analysis tools like Python, Power BI, or Excel.
- Basic knowledge of risk frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 2) is preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
