Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated IT Support Officer to provide technical support and maintenance for business-critical applications. You will act as the first point of contact for application-related issues, ensuring smooth operation, troubleshooting errors, and liaising with development or vendor teams for resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level support for business applications, resolving incidents and service requests.
  • Troubleshoot application errors, data discrepancies, and performance issues.
  • Monitor application performance and availability, ensuring uptime and reliability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (IT, business users, developers) and external vendors to resolve complex issues.
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and procedures to support knowledge sharing.
  • Support application upgrades, patches, testing, and deployments.
  • Analyze recurring problems and work on root cause analysis and long-term fixes.
  • Maintain user accounts, roles, and permissions within supported applications.
  • Provide end-user training and create support documentation or manuals as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1+ years of experience in application support or IT helpdesk environment.
  • Familiarity with enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HR systems, etc.).
  • Have knowledge in SQL Query & PostgreSQL.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
  • Willing to work in a multi-finance company
  • Willing to work on weekends and public holidays
