Job SummaryWe are seeking a versatile IT Support Engineer with hands-on experience in deskside support and basic to intermediate networking. The role involves providing on-site end-user support while also assisting in the operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network infrastructure to ensure reliable IT services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 deskside support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Perform IMACD activities (Install, Move, Add, Change, Decommission).
- Support Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and basic Active Directory tasks (password resets, account unlocks).
- Maintain accurate documentation and update tickets in the ITSM tool.
- Troubleshoot basic to intermediate network connectivity issues (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
- Assist with installation, configuration, and support of switches, routers, firewalls, and access points.
- Support network patching, cabling, and port activation activities.
- Monitor network performance and escalate complex network incidents to senior engineers.
- Coordinate with ISPs and network vendors when required.
