Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Information Technology Quality Assurance professional to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications and IT systems. In this role, you will design and execute test strategies, identify defects to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business and user requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, system, user acceptance (UAT), performance, and security testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects through their full lifecycle using bug tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.), and verify resolutions.
• Collaborate closely with developers and business development to understand requirements and clarify acceptance criteria.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI to validate backend services and integrations.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree from Computer Science or related fields

Minimum 1+ Years of professional Information Technology Quality Assurance experience, with significant exposure to software quality assurance or IT testing roles..

• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC) methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing techniques and test case design.
• Proficiency in defect tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, qTest, etc.).
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured).
