Job Description
- Lead and manage IT projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and implementation to closure, ensuring alignment with project scopes, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and documentation while managing change requests and project governance.
- Lead and mentor the IT Project Manager team, guiding cross-functional collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues while monitoring progress to deliver high-quality results meeting business requirements.
- Ensure all projects comply with PMO methodologies, standards, policies, and governance requirements by coordinating with the Group PMO for reviews, reporting, and compliance.
- Maintain project documentation, templates, governance artifacts, and support portfolio tracking and project performance monitoring across multiple initiatives.
- Prepare project dashboards, management reports, executive-level presentations, and facilitate audits, quality reviews, and gate review processes.
- Facilitate project meetings, steering committee updates, and drive continuous improvement in project management practices and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Bring a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT Project Management, PMO, or related roles, with a track record of managing multiple IT projects simultaneously.
- Prior work experience within insurance, financial services, or other highly regulated industries is a strong advantage.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid frameworks.
- Proficient in project governance, risk management, budgeting, reporting, and tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
- Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum certifications, or ITIL Foundation are preferred.
