Job Description

This is a paid internship program designed to provide fresh graduates and early-career talents with hands-on professional experience in a dynamic working environment.

The internship will run for a period of 6 months, from October 2026 to March 2027. Throughout the program, interns will have the opportunity to gain practical industry exposure, develop relevant professional and technical skills, participate in real business projects, and work closely with experienced professionals.

About the Role

As an IT Developer / Programmer Intern, you will participate in software development activities, learn industry-standard development practices, collaborate with experienced IT professionals, and contribute to the development and enhancement of digital applications and platforms throughout the 6-month internship period.

What You Will Do

Application Development

Assist in developing, enhancing, and maintaining web-based or internal business applications.
Support the development of frontend and/or backend application components based on assigned tasks.
Implement application features based on approved functional and technical requirements.
Write clean, structured, reusable, and maintainable code under the guidance of senior developers.
Assist in developing application modules, business logic, and system functionality.

API and System Integration

Assist in developing and maintaining APIs for application integration.
Support integration between internal applications, databases, and third-party systems.
Perform basic API testing using Postman or similar tools.
Assist in identifying and resolving integration issues.

Database Development

Assist in creating and maintaining database structures.
Write basic SQL queries for retrieving, inserting, updating, and managing application data.
Support database-related troubleshooting.
Learn and implement database relationships, data validation, and basic optimization practices.

Testing and Troubleshooting

Perform basic functional testing of developed applications.
Assist in identifying bugs, application errors, and system issues.
Support debugging and troubleshooting activities.
Document bugs, issues, testing results, and corrective actions.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and implementation activities when required.

Version Control and Deployment

Use Git or similar version-control systems for source-code management.
Learn and follow the company branching, commit, and code-review procedures.
Support application deployment to development, testing, or staging environments.
Assist the IT team during application releases and implementation activities.

Documentation and Team Collaboration

Prepare and maintain basic technical documentation, including application features, system flows, database structures, APIs, and configuration changes.
Collaborate with Developers, Infrastructure, QA, Product, Business, and other relevant teams.
Participate in technical discussions, project meetings, daily coordination, and development reviews.
Communicate task progress, technical issues, and blockers clearly and receive guidance from supervisors and experienced team members.

What We're Looking For

Educational Background

Fresh graduate with a Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Informatics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or other related fields.
Previous full-time professional experience is not required.
Internship experience, academic projects, bootcamps, freelance projects, competitions, or personal software projects will be an advantage.

Technical Qualifications

Basic understanding of programming concepts and software development.
Familiar with at least one programming language such as JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP, Java, Python, C#, or another relevant language.
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web application concepts is an advantage.
Familiar with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and basic SQL.
Familiar with REST API concepts and basic API testing.
Basic knowledge of Git or other version-control systems.
Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Able to perform basic debugging and problem solving.
Willing to learn new technologies, frameworks, tools, and development practices.
