Role Description The Informatics Teacher will design and deliver engaging informatics and programming lessons to students, ensuring alignment with the school's curriculum and educational standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, and integrating technology-based tools into learning activities. The role also involves guiding students in practical projects, collaborating with other teachers to support interdisciplinary learning, and participating in school events and professional development activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Informatics and Programming, with the ability to explain core concepts clearly and accessibly.
- Practical experience using Visual Basic and Scratch to develop and teach educational projects or applications.
- Demonstrated Teaching skills, including classroom management, lesson planning, and student assessment.
- Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Informatics, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
- Ability to create inclusive, student-centered learning environments that encourage curiosity and critical thinking.
- Good communication skills in English and Indonesian, both written and verbal.
- Comfort with educational technology and digital tools to support interactive learning.
- Previous experience teaching at school level or in similar educational settings is an advantage.
