Job Description

ECCO is a leading footwear manufacturing company committed to operational excellence and continuous improvement. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Industrial Engineer to join our team and support production efficiency, process optimization, and data-driven decision making.

Job profile

Industrial Engineer responsible for providing sequence operation, machine lay-out and calculating standard minutes (SM) for an article that will run in production as the required standard. The incumbent is also responsible for analysing and improving the work method. Further responsible to assist in providing SM for costing as per the assigned area of responsibility.

  • Develop and maintain process sequences and machine layouts to ensure efficient production flow.
  • Calculate and update Standard Minutes (SM) for all articles from development to mass production.
  • Conduct time studies and monitor operator performance to ensure adherence to standard times.
  • Analyze production flow and identify bottlenecks, proposing layout or process improvements.
  • Collaborate with Production and Technical teams to ensure proper implementation of methods and processes.
  • Prepare and manage manpower planning and utilization analysis.
  • Support machine requirement planning and labeling for production readiness.
  • Monitor mass production processes and ensure compliance with defined standards.
  • Contribute to cost-saving and re-engineering initiatives.
  • Generate regular reports on production performance, efficiency, and capacity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Production Analyst or Process Engineer, preferably in the footwear industry.
  • Strong understanding of time study, work measurement, line balancing, production flow optimization, and standard minute (SM) calculation.
  • Proficiency in Power BI for reporting and data visualization, Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced level), and AutoCAD for layout design
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication in English and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Willing to work in Sidoarjo, East Java
