INDONESIAN HYDROPOWER/CIVIL ENGINEER

Due to increased activity in ongoing and new hydropower projects in Indonesia, PT Norconsult Indonesia Consulting, a subsidiary of Norconsult in Indonesia, is now seeking eligible local candidates for position as Hydropower/Civil Engineer.

You will have the opportunity to participate in multidisciplinary teams from Indonesia and abroad working with some of the most interesting hydropower projects in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. You will be based on our office in Mega Kuningan, Jakarta, but travel and possible re-location to various construction sites in Indonesia must be expected.

Job Description

• Planning and design of hydropower plants, pump storage hydropower plants and dams in all project phases
• Design calculations, BIM/3D modelling and drawing production
• Preparation of specifications and tender documents, schedule, quantity and cost estimates
• Construction and site supervision

Minimum Qualifications

• Indonesian citizenship
• MSc or BSc in Civil Engineering
• Fluent in English (written and oral)
• Flexible, effective, attention to details and a good team player
• Contributing to an innovative and good social working environment
• Willing to travel to, and be based at, various project sites in Indonesia if needed
• Preferably candidates with 3+ years of experience in the hydropower sector
• Experience with BIM software (Revit and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D)
• Experience with design of concrete structures and Indonesian design standards (SNI etc.)
