About the role:

As a HR Manager, you will be based in the Jakarta office. You will be expected to provide HR leadership in all HR and talent strategies, programmes, and processes for our Jakarta operations, primarily for offline stores and potentially for online operations in the future.

Job description:

  • Business Partnering - working directly with the team leaders to ensure critical people processes are effectively and efficiently undertaken. Identify and address people and organizational risk.
  • People/HR policy - Provide guidance, interpretation & coaching across Indonesia, work with external consultants when needed to provide effective employment advice & coaching to all the teams.
  • Payroll - Responsible for processing monthly payroll, including tax and social security contributions, in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • HR operations - Ensures business compliance with HR policies and programs. Partner with regional/global counterparts to manage HR projects to ensure successful implementation in the business units. Oversee Office Management, including Health and Safety.
  • Talent Acquisition & Development - Develop strategies to attract, drive and retain potentials in the organization. Manage the full spectrum of recruitment activities and support talent review strategies and processes for the assigned business units. Facilitate career development activities and manage employee development plan to sustain organizational capability.
  • Employee Engagement - Drive employee engagement by analyzing people trends and proposing engagement strategies, partner with leaders to deliver effective communications. Active involvement in change management to drive organizational alignment and effective human resource utilization.
  • Organizational Effectiveness - Oversee full scope of HR functions for assigned business units and advise line people on HR matters such as performance management, appraisal process, talent acquisition, succession planning, career development, disciplinary process etc.
  • Employee relations - Build strong relationships with the local store teams and be a trusted people advisor to your local partners and frontline staff, and support creating a high-performing team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in relevant business or HR discipline.
  • 8+ years of relevant HR experience in leadership role within a multinational business environment.
  • Retail or E-commerce industry background is highly preferred.
  • Strong business knowledge and capability to assess HR implications of business priorities.
  • Experience and motivation to work in an international and cross-functional environment.
  • Team player actively contributing to positive team spirit.
  • Pragmatic approach and hands-on management style.
  • High level of verbal and written communications skills in English, ability in Mandarin language is advantageous to communicate with China HQ.
  • Passion for sports is a must.
