Manage and supervise all export and import activities, from planning and document processing to shipping.
Ensure all processes comply with applicable customs regulations, international trade, and government policies.
Coordinate with internal parties (production, warehouse, logistics, finance) to ensure availability and smooth delivery schedules.
Prepare, review, and verify export-import documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, PEB, PIB, and other supporting documents).
Ensure compliance with HS Codes, customs values, and compliance with customs regulations and relevant agencies.
Manage export/import permits, SKA (Source Certificates of Origin), and special licensing documents for manufactured products.
Establish and maintain good relationships with external parties such as freight forwarders, shipping lines, surveyors, and government agencies (Customs, Ministry of Trade, Quarantine, etc.).
Negotiate prices and shipping terms (freight costs, incoterms, insurance) to achieve logistics cost efficiencies.
Analyze export-import process performance to improve efficiency, speed, and accuracy of shipments.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and develop new export markets.
Develop effective procedures and documentation systems to support audits and compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from a reputable university
Minimum of 7-8 years of excellence in Export-Import Management
Experienced in the steel industry and handling SNI products is preferable
Proven ability & strong knowledge of Customs (Kepabeanan) regulations, Incoterms, international trade regulations, and export-import documents.
Networking with Customs (Bea Cukai), freight forwarders, and related agencies.
Exceptional skills in communication, negotiation, and problem-solving
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with property management software is preferred
