Working Arrangement

- Prepare recurring accounting and financial reporting deliverables.
- Prepare and maintain account reconciliations.
- Perform assigned financial control activities over accounting data and reporting. Execute and document controls are designed to confirm the completeness, accuracy, authorization, and traceability of accounting data, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting outputs. Retain appropriate evidence of control performance, identify exceptions or control gaps, assess their potential reporting impact, and coordinate with relevant data, system, accounting, or process owners to support remediation and prevent recurrence.
- Support external audit requirements related to IFRS 17.
- Coordinate resolution of IFRS 17 accounting and reporting issues.
- Monitor monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliations and aging.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting within the insurance industry or a public accounting firm.
- Familiarity with IFRS 17/PSAK 117, or prior exposure to related accounting and reporting processes.
- Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with other departments and regional stakeholders.
