Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and experienced IELTS Teacher to help students achieve their target IELTS scores. The ideal candidate should be able to teach interactively and have a strong understanding of IELTS strategies for Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
Open for candidates from outside Palembang. Candidates from other cities across Indonesia are encouraged to apply. Remote interviews are available for out-of-town applicants. This position is primarily on-site in Palembang.
Responsibilities
- Teach IELTS preparation classes both online and offline
- Help students improve their Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking skills
- Provide IELTS strategies and test-taking techniques
- Prepare learning materials and practice exercises
- Monitor and evaluate student progress
- Create an active and engaging learning environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English Education, English Literature, or related field
- Strong spoken and written English skills with good pronunciation
- Strong understanding of IELTS test format and strategies
- Good teaching and communication skills
- Familiar with Zoom, Google Meet, Canva, or other learning platforms
- Creative, disciplined, and responsible
- Experience teaching IELTS preparation is preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- IELTS or TOEFL certificate with a good score
- Experience teaching IELTS preparation classes
- Strong public speaking skills
- Able to work independently and in a team
