Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled ICAE Manager to join our leadership team. This role is pivotal in enhancing instrumentation and electrical reliability, minimizing operational risks, and driving efficient, cost-effective plant operations.

This role is pivotal in enhancing instrumentation and electrical reliability, minimizing operational risks, and driving efficient, cost-effective plant operations of Unilever Oleochemical Indonesia at North Sumatera, Indonesia. As a key leader, you will shape ICAE strategies, strengthen asset integrity, and play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence and sustainable performance across the plant

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead all instrumentation, control system, and electrical maintenance activities
  • Manage systems including DCS, PLC, SIS, ESD, F&G, SCADA, field instruments, and analyzers
  • Ensure high reliability of motors, MCCs, switchgear, transformers, UPS, VFDs, and generators
  • Drive preventive, predictive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance strategies
  • Ensure compliance with HSE, electrical safety, hazardous area, and functional safety standar
  • Lead root cause analysis, PM optimization, and reliability improvement programs
  • Oversee calibration, testing, inspections, and certification records
  • Support MOC, plant modifications, commissioning, and start-up activities
  • Lead shutdown preparation and execution for ICAE scopes
  • Develop and coach engineers, supervisors, technicians, and contractors
  • Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts strategy, and asset lifecycle planning
  • Maintain accurate records in CMMS and compliance documentation

Requirements & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, or Electronics Engineering
  • Willing to be relocated to Sei Mangkei, North Sumatera
  • Professional English fluency
  • 10–15 years experience in oleochemical, petrochemical, refinery, or chemical plants
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing technical teams and contractors
  • Strong expertise in DCS, PLC, SIS, SCADA, F&G, and field instrumentation
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems (MCC, transformers, UPS, VFDs, generators
  • Familiarity with Profibus, Modbus, Foundation Fieldbus, HART, Ethernet/IP, OPC
  • Experience with ISO standards, HSE, CMMS, RCA, MOC, shutdown & commissioning
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
