HR Officer, SEA+

About the Role
We are looking for an HR Officer, SEA+ to support day-to-day HR operations across Southeast Asia, with primary responsibility for Indonesia. The role will work closely with employees, managers, regional HR teams, external vendors, and local authorities to ensure smooth and compliant HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage HR operations throughout the employee lifecycle, including pre-onboarding, onboarding, employee movements, and offboarding.
- Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR data within HR systems.
- Support HR policies, procedures, and programs in line with company guidelines and local regulations.
- Administer compensation & benefits, including benefits enrollment, updates, and employee communication.
- Provide day-to-day support to employees regarding HR policies, benefits, leave, and other HR matters.
- Prepare HR reports, employment letters, and other HR documentation.
- Support HR metrics, reporting, and data accuracy.
- Identify and support HR process improvement initiatives.
- Participate in local, regional, and global HR projects.
- Coordinate with external HR vendors and service providers.
- Act as the key HR contact for Indonesia HR operational matters, including coordination with government agencies and statutory bodies.
- Support local employment compliance and statutory requirements.
- Support HR audits, inspections, and regulatory requests.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, system updates, orientation, and exit procedures.
- Support Indonesia payroll operations by preparing and validating employee data changes with the regional HR team.
- Coordinate matters related to social security, mandatory reporting, and other HR administration.
- Support training programs, employee engagement activities, and HR events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably with SEA/regional exposure.
- Experience in a multinational or matrix organization, working with senior leadership and country/functional managers.
- Proven experience in HR generalist / HR operations covering the full employee lifecycle.
- Working knowledge of HRIS and HR-related systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of HR procedures, policies, and Indonesian employment regulations.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regional environment with multiple stakeholders.
