Job Description

Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy & Business Partnering

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with JETOUR International's global objectives and PT Jetour Motor Indonesia's business goals
  • Partner with senior leadership to provide HR guidance and support on strategic initiatives including succession planning, resource allocation, and organizational structure
  • Translate global HR policies and frameworks into locally relevant programs and practices

Talent Acquisition & Management

  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including workforce planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection to attract top talent in the Indonesian automotive industry
  • Develop and implement employer branding initiatives to position JETOUR as an employer of choice in Indonesia
  • Manage the onboarding and probationary period for new hires
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future organizational needs

Performance Management & Development

  • Oversee the country performance management cycle, ensuring equity through calibration sessions and providing clear criteria and guidance to employees and managers
  • Design and deliver training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies
  • Lead organizational development initiatives to foster a high-performance culture and employee engagement

Compensation & Benefits

  • Manage compensation and benefits administration, including payroll processing, salary benchmarking, and benefits negotiations
  • Ensure competitive and equitable compensation structures aligned with market practices and JETOUR's global standards

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with Indonesian labor laws, including Law No. 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower as amended by Law No. 6 of 2023 (Omnibus Law), and all relevant implementing regulations
  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary issues in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Manage industrial relations and maintain harmonious relationships with employees and any labor unions
  • Oversee compliance with mandatory reporting requirements, including job vacancy reporting and fixed-term employment contract registration
  • Stay current with evolving Indonesian employment regulations, including outsourcing restrictions and minimum wage requirements across provinces

HR Operations & Systems

  • Lead the country implementation of global HRIS systems and ensure efficient HR operations
  • Oversee General Affairs (GA) functions as needed, including facility management and administrative support
  • Manage HR data with accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Law, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience:

  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role
  • Proven experience in the automotive industry or a related manufacturing sector is highly preferred
  • Experience working in a multinational or global organization is essential
  • Demonstrated success in establishing HR functions for new or rapidly growing operations is a strong advantage

Knowledge & Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Indonesian labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices
  • Strong understanding of Indonesian employment regulations including the Manpower Law, fixed-term employment contracts, minimum wage requirements, and outsourcing rules
  • Proven ability to design and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs from the ground up
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS and HR software systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Language:

  • Fluent in Indonesian and English (both written and spoken)

Other Requirements:

  • Indonesian citizenship is required for this position, as Indonesian regulations restrict HR Manager and HR Director roles to Indonesian citizens
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
