Role Overview
The HR Manager plays a key role in building the team and culture of Heritage Boutique Hotel. From recruitment and onboarding to staff development and performance management, you ensure that every team member feels supported, engaged and aligned with the hotel's values. You will help shape a workplace where people grow, collaborate and deliver meaningful guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full recruitment process for all departments, with a strong focus on local talent and cultural alignment
Create onboarding programs that introduce new team members to the Heritage philosophy, guest service pillars and brand culture
Develop training schedules, performance reviews and development plans
Maintain clear HR policies, employee records and compliance with Indonesian labour regulations
Guide managers through people-related decisions, from scheduling to performance conversations
Support team engagement, well-being and staff events
Manage payroll coordination together with Finance
Foster a culture of respect, professionalism and open communication.
Requirements
Proven experience as HR Manager in hospitality (pre-opening experience is preferred)
Strong knowledge of Indonesian labour laws and HR procedures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build trust with both management and staff
Organized, proactive and comfortable in a pre-opening environment
Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
