Job Description

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company in the agribusiness and manufacturing industry. As the business continues to grow, our client is seeking an experienced HR professional for the role of Human Resources Manager. This position will play a key role in leading the full HR function, supporting workforce planning and organizational development, strengthening employee engagement, and ensuring effective HR operations and compliance. The position is based in Gorontalo, Sulawesi, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage the overall Human Resources function across the organization.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives and organizational growth.
  • Lead workforce planning, talent acquisition, and manpower planning in line with business requirements.
  • Oversee recruitment and selection processes to attract, develop, and retain high-quality talent.
  • Lead learning and development initiatives to enhance employee capabilities and support career development.
  • Develop and maintain succession plans for key positions across the organization.
  • Manage the performance management framework and support managers in setting performance objectives and development plans.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and maintain positive employee relations across the organization.
  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and other sensitive workplace issues.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, reward programs, salary reviews, and incentive administration.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor regulations, company policies, and HR governance standards.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, systems, and processes to support effective HR operations.
  • Provide strategic HR advice and guidance to management on people-related matters.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the HR team to ensure effective service delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor HR metrics and provide regular insights and recommendations to management on workforce and organizational performance.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Human Resources, including solid managerial experience.
  • Strong experience across HR generalist functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, and HR operations.
  • Proven experience in workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, and organizational development.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, employee relations, and statutory HR compliance.
  • Experience in developing and implementing HR policies, processes, and systems.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead and develop an HR team.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business requirements into practical HR strategies.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, influencing, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using HRIS, HR analytics, and workforce metrics.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee matters.
  • Experience in a factory, manufacturing, or industrial environment will be an advantage.
  • Professional HR certifications such as CIPD, SHRM, HRCI, CHRM, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
