Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Four Star by Trans Hotel in Denpasar. This position is responsible for overseeing the full HR lifecycle, including recruitment and onboarding, performance management, training and development, and employee relations. Day-to-day tasks include managing HR policies and procedures, maintaining accurate HR records, coordinating payroll and benefits with relevant departments, and ensuring compliance with local labor regulations. The Human Resources Manager will work closely with department heads to support workforce planning, address staffing needs, and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture. The role also involves handling conflict resolution, supporting health and safety initiatives, and contributing to HR-related reporting and continuous improvement of HR practices within the hotel.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Skills in HR policy development, compliance with local labor laws, and management of HR documentation and records.
  • Experience coordinating payroll, benefits, and attendance systems in collaboration with finance or administration teams.
  • Ability to design and deliver training and development programs that support staff growth and service excellence.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to build an inclusive, respectful, and service-oriented workplace culture in a hospitality or service environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with HRIS or HR-related software tools and basic office applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; relevant HR certifications are an advantage.
  • Previous experience in hotel or hospitality HR management, or a similar service-focused industry, is highly beneficial.
