About the Role
Star Energy Geothermal is looking for a Human Capital Business Partner (HCBP) to support our geothermal and wind operations businesses through strategic human capital initiatives and effective partnership with business leaders across operational sites.
This role is responsible for supporting organization effectiveness, workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, and performance management while ensuring alignment between business priorities and Human Capital strategies. The HCBP will work closely with business leaders to drive workforce capability, organizational effectiveness, and business performance across geothermal and wind operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with line managers and site leaders across geothermal and wind operations on workforce and people-related matters to implement Human Capital strategies and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Support organization design and workforce planning activities to ensure alignment with operational requirements across geothermal and wind assets.
- Facilitate performance management and talent processes, including performance reviews, calibration sessions, development planning, succession planning, and administration of the PeopleHub system.
- Utilize workforce data and analytics to provide insights that support business decision-making and operational effectiveness.
- Ensure consistent implementation of Human Capital policies, programs, and frameworks across geothermal and wind operations.
- Collaborate with business leaders and Human Capital teams to support workforce capability, talent development, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 6–10 years of experience in Human Capital, Human Resources, or HR Business Partner roles.
- Experience in employee relations, performance management, talent management, workforce planning, and organizational support.
- Experience partnering with business leaders and supporting operational workforce environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification in Human Resources or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience supporting operations, energy, renewable energy, utilities, manufacturing, mining, or other asset-intensive industries is an advantage.
- Experience working within multi-site operational environments is preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of workforce practices within operational, energy, renewable energy, utilities, or asset-based industries.
- Knowledge of labor regulations and Human Capital best practices.
- Experience in workforce planning, talent management, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to utilize workforce data and generate actionable business insights.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

- Ability to work effectively across multiple business functions and operational locations.
