Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or additional certifications in process safety or project management can be advantageous
10 years of experience in process safety engineering within the offshore oil and gas industry.
Extensive experience with oil and gas projects, particularly focusing on hull and living quarters safety systems
Proficiency in process safety management systems and regulations.
Experience with safety analysis techniques such as HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, and SIL
Knowledge of safety standards and guidelines (e.g., API, OSHA, ISO) related to hull and living quarters
Familiarity with risk assessment and management for offshore structures
