Job Description
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or additional certifications in process safety or project management can be advantageous
- 10 years of experience in process safety engineering within the offshore oil and gas industry.
- Extensive experience with oil and gas projects, particularly focusing on hull and living quarters safety systems
- Proficiency in process safety management systems and regulations.
- Experience with safety analysis techniques such as HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, and SIL
- Knowledge of safety standards and guidelines (e.g., API, OSHA, ISO) related to hull and living quarters
- Familiarity with risk assessment and management for offshore structures
