Responsibilities
Description:
The
HSE Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and implementing Health, Safety, and Environmental programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. The position is responsible for monitoring compliance with company policies, applicable regulations, and HSE standards, as well as identifying and controlling workplace hazards and supporting continuous improvement in HSE performance.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor the implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and programs across the workplace.
- Identify, assess, and control potential workplace health, safety, and environmental hazards.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and ensure corrective actions are properly implemented.
- Monitor compliance with applicable occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Develop and deliver HSE training, safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and awareness programs for employees.
- Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare investigation reports and corrective actions.
- Monitor the implementation of emergency preparedness and response procedures.
- Ensure the availability, inspection, and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Monitor fire safety systems, emergency equipment, and evacuation procedures.
- Maintain and update HSE documentation, records, reports, and permits.
- Coordinate environmental management activities, including waste management and environmental monitoring.
- Prepare regular HSE performance reports and communicate findings and recommendations to management.
- Support internal and external HSE audits and ensure corrective and preventive actions are completed.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to promote a strong safety culture and continuous HSE improvement.
- Supervise, guide, and evaluate HSE team members to ensure effective performance.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, Public Health, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HSE, preferably with supervisory experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing or factory environment is highly preferred.
- Good knowledge of occupational health and safety, environmental management, risk assessment, and emergency response.
- Familiar with applicable Indonesian HSE regulations and standards.
- Strong knowledge of HIRADC/JSA, incident investigation, PPE, fire safety, and emergency preparedness.
- Able to conduct workplace inspections and risk assessments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with various departments.
- High level of discipline, responsibility, integrity, and attention to detail.
- K3 certification (AK3 Umum/Ahli K3) is highly preferred.
- Additional certifications such as Fire Safety, First Aid, Environmental Management, or ISO 45001/14001 are an advantage.
